9. Bones (2001)

Part of the fun of Halloween movie watching is that the movies don’t all have to be great works of art in order to be enjoyable. Halloween is the one occasion where you can just sit back and enjoy a mindless movie with loads of gore that might otherwise offend your delicate tastes for the simplistic entertainment that some of these horror  movies are meant to provide. With that in mind, I recommend Snoop Dog’s vision of a slasher film, complete with a pimptastic back story and Pam Grier for an extra bit of Blaxploitation street cred. Enjoy it for what it is; this time of year only comes around once!
