According to the Hollywood Reporter actress Octavia Spencer has joined the cast of "Snow Piercer." This sci-fi indie thriller is about a train that circles the globe carrying earth's only inhabitants after an Ice Age destroys all life. Spencer plays a passenger who participates in a revolt to save her son.
